Does Cracked Canvas Vuitton Repair

Hi anybody!

And then I empathize that Louis Vuitton won't touch/repair anything with whatever cracked canvas. But has anyone here had whatsoever experiences with a Louis that's canvas was cracked?

I have a Speedy Damier Ebene 30 and it's croaky only a tad bit on the bottom iv corners. Is there anything I can do to repair this myself/can it be repaired at a shoe/leather shop? If non, how much life would you lot all propose it has left?

I HATE when DE starts to look like information technology's bleeding! How old is the bag? Personally I would sell and employ the money towards a new 1 and be more careful with information technology.

Pitiful that this happened to you, OP. I've no feel with this, I would suggest taking information technology to a cobbler and see what suggestions they might offer.

It might exist worth asking a cobbler/shoe repair shop how much it would cost to go it repaired just even so I don't think it will await very practiced anymore, considering it's on all the corners. I think I'd sell it as it is and put the money towards a new 1. I'd also be interested to know how old this pocketbook is?

A cobbler might be able to put some kind of glue or agglutinative on the tears but I don't think information technology will expect too good. Mine wouldn't fifty-fifty repair slight tears on my pre-loved Delightful.

If y'all found a very experienced leather worker y'all could take them wrap some dark leather effectually each corner to hide those rips. I wouldn't bear the bag equally it is.

The pocketbook is eight years old, but I just got it as a preloved item! I feel similar the cracks are super minuscule, excluding the largest one and so I'one thousand thinking it may not exist besides bad if they are able to cover it upward/repair information technology since they're completely on the bottom of the purse...no one will come across it unless I flip the bag over I hope! I'k more concerned of it violent more.

Can you return it for a refund? I would do that if information technology is an option. If not, just employ it every bit your beater bag.

I was thinking the same matter. I was able to negotiate the price downwards to $425 since I purchased multiple items from them. I was but intending to utilise this as a "mommy" pocketbook when I'chiliad out with the kids to place their holding inside. I'thousand hoping information technology'll concord!

I googled purse restoration service once and the first one that popped up had earlier and afterwards photos of an lv wallet where the canvas was chewed/ripped as if by a dog. Obviously the canvas itself can't be repaired just they did some clever reshaping and added a tiny flake of additional vachetta and the "restored" wallet looked quite decent at the finish. Information technology didn't look like it's original land of course, simply information technology looked nice and presentable , with no apparent impairment.

I have no idea how much a like restoration/repair job would toll though, and so that might affect your decision. I would personally be worried about the damage spreading and becoming bigger, particularly if yous make up one's mind to use the purse regularly with your kid'southward stuff. I empathize that LV is a nice brand and as a fellow mom I dear the idea that even though I take a baby I can still use a prissy purse. However, how "overnice" is the purse if it'southward coming autonomously and has holes in information technology, even if it'due south LV? I'd go it repaired before using it, even if "just" as a baby purse.
